Landland is not a record label. We mean this. Record labels are a lot of work. People that don't work hard on their record labels aren't doing it right, and we already have a lot of work to do with all of this other stuff. But...we realized that sometimes it's fun to go through the whole process of getting or making recordings, sending them off, pressing vinyl, designing and printing packaging, and assembling all of that mess into one thing for people to pick up and enjoy, so in the very beginning of 2010, we started Landland Is Not A Record Label.

Our plan with this is to occasionally release things that maybe wouldn't be released otherwise, or use it to produce and publish a few of the ideas that we sometimes get excited about. This can include books, tiny zines, things that our friends make, as well as records and tapes and things like that.
